This presentation will explore the need for ECD policy advocates and the challenges inherent in advocating for multi-sectoral interventions. The importance of experts in child development leveraging their knowledge and status into effective policy advocacy will be covered, and strategies for local, national, and global engagement as an advocate will be discussed. The presentation will conclude with ways to identify important systems of influence and tactics to create and strengthen advocacy networks.
