Colleagues in Turkey are organizing the first international congress on breastfeeding reality. Here is the information about the congress:
“The First International Congress of Breastfeeding Reality”on October 1-3 in 2019 by Hacettepe University Institute of Child Health, The Turkish Ministry of Health and TEMAS Society (First and the only Breastfeeding Support NGO in Turkey) in Ankara, Turkey, in collaboration with Turkish Society for Social Pediatrics, Turkey Offices of WHO and UNICEF.
“Valuing and Promoting Breastfeeding” and “Breastfeeding Problems in Refugees” will also be discussed in The Congress.
Our congress will be held in line with the related “International Law on Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes (Code)” principles.
With our congress, we want to contribute to the support and improvement of breastfeeding in our country and the world. For this purpose, we are bringing together many institutions and organizations operating in the field of breastfeeding in a multi-national, multi-sector activity.
