e-bulletin 36 – 4.2 Extinction Rebellion

This is a new organisation that takes direct action to draw attention to the huge threat of climate change. Its supporters believe that governments aren’t doing enough and that marches aren’t effective so are going back to the methods of the Suffragettes to force change in society. This means blocking roads and being prepared to be arrested. Here is a report of a recent action in London.
